The Cape Mini Storage facility has been family owned and operated for over 30 years. Our first business endeavor in Cape Coral, Florida was the Cape Car Wash, built and operated at the corner of SE 46th Lane and Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coral. It eventually was sold and the property became the location of a marine business.

With the rapid growth of Cape Coral in the 80’s we saw there was a need for more self storage than was available to the residents of southwest Florida so we purchased land for Cape Mini Storage in a prime location in the Cape Coral Industrial Park just south of Viscaya Parkway in central Cape Coral. Initially two buildings were constructed and the remainder of the land was used for outdoor storage for recreational vehicles and boats. The property remained in this configuration for approximately ten years. Eventually there was more of a need for self storage than outside storage so two additional buildings were constructed.
